Mental health matters

Mental Health is an essential and integral component to overall health and wellbeing. Just as care for our physical health involves intentionality, so too does care for our mental health.

The YHC Student Counseling Center strives to come alongside students to assist them in developing the skills, strategies, and knowledge to improve their individual mental health as well as the relationships with those around them. The major aim of Counseling Services is to promote the social emotional growth and mental well-being of students. The Counseling Center is a nonjudgmental and safe space that strives to assist and provide resources to all students. Any concern of a student is regarded as important and is treated with respect.
