Types of grants
Federal Pell Grant
Eligibility for this grant is based on federal methodology. Annual Pell Grant awards for the 2023-2024 academic year range from $761 to $7,395. Award amounts will be reduced for students enrolled less than full-time.
Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)
Eligibility for this grant is based on federal methodology and priority is given to Federal Pell Grant recipients demonstrating the most financial need.
Appleby Grant
This grant was established in 1964 by Mr. Scott B. Appleby and may be awarded to local students attending full-time.
Young Harris College Grant
This grant may be awarded to full-time students who reside on campus.
