YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. — The annual Ooky Spooky Light Show is on tap for October at the O. Wayne Rollins Planetarium on Friday, Oct. 18 at 7 and 8 p.m. 

Come check out Halloween classics like “Monster Mash,” “Ghostbusters,” and “Thriller” – all set to spooky and amazing visuals in the planetarium. You don’t want to miss the family favorite! 

Ooky Spooky Light Show – Friday, Oct. 18, @ 7 & 8 p.m. 

This show is a delight for the entire family. Classic and favorite Halloween tunes such as “Monster Mash,” “Ghostbusters,” “Thriller,” and “Night on Bald Mountain,” as well as several pop songs with lyrics on the “creepy” side will come to life in this amazing full-dome graphics and light show. The visuals are fun, spooky, and will leave audiences smiling in delight. 

Purchasing tickets online in advance is recommended for most shows since planetarium shows often sell out.  For planetarium shows, guests are encouraged to arrive early for the best seats.  

Planetarium tickets can also be purchased online via Eventbrite.

Public planetarium shows, with the exception of Cosmic Concerts, include a live-narrated “season stargazing” segment in addition to the featured full-dome program.  

Planetarium Admission:  

  • $5 Adults per show  
  • $3 Children per show  
  • Free for Children under 4 years of age  
  • Free with YHC ID  

Any remaining tickets will be available for purchase at the door 30 minutes before showtime.
