Dr. Amanda Song
Associate Professor of Chemistry - Mathematics, Science & Technology
Dr. Amanda Song joined the YHC faculty in 2009. She specializes in analytical and environmental chemistry. Dr. Song has published a number of papers on the detection and speciation of big molecules found in natural environments. Since arriving at Young Harris College, she has taught general chemistry, analytical chemistry, instrumental analysis, and environmental chemistry. Dr. Song enjoys teaching all her classes, particularly analytical chemistry, which offers her the opportunity to challenge students to examine the physical world with accuracy and precision. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, gardening, reading, and cooking.
