Steven Riera joined the biology department in 2017.  He enjoys teaching many of the introductory biology labs as well as an ecotoxicology special topics course.  His research interests include the ecology of freshwater systems and how they are affected by pollutants.  When not teaching or researching Steven enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time in nature.
