Baccalaureate Service
Baccalaureate Service Friday, May 6 7:00 PM @ Glenn Auditorium

Graduates earning a baccalaureate degree and their families are invited to the Baccalaureate Service in Glenn Auditorium of the Clegg Fine Arts Building at 7 p.m. At this service, students will receive their stole that will be worn with academic regalia at commencement. Students will have the opportunity to choose who presents the stole to them. Attire is academic regalia.

Commencement Ceremony
Commencement Ceremony Saturday, May 7 11:00 AM @ Recreation and Fitness Center

The Commencement ceremony begins at 11 a.m. Students will assemble in front of the Recreation and Fitness Center for a photo at 10 a.m. Lineup will begin at 10:30 a.m. outside the Recreation and Fitness Center.

Solar Quest and Aurora Storm Friday, May 20 8:00 PM @ O. Wayne Rollins Planetarium

Presented May 20 & 27, June 17 and July 22 & 29 at 8 p.m.

This pairing of shows provides an intriguing overview of the Sun-Earth environment. “Solar Quest” demonstrates how Sun and Earth are interconnected using high-quality animations to display solar surface features and events. Discover how space weather affects us and how Earth’s atmosphere and magnetic field protect life on our planet. “Aurora Storm” is an enthralling scientific and cultural exploration of the aurora borealis. Travel to Alaska to witness the mesmerizing dance of the northern lights, and learn what they mean to scientists and the inhabitants of the polar regions. Discover the causes of the aurorae and how humans who live beneath their shimmering light are inspired by what they see. The show is narrated by two Athabascan Alaska natives.
